Step into the world of Tanzanian cacao and discover the magic of chocolate making with Mababu Chocolate. Guided by our chocolatiers, participants experience the entire bean-to-bar journey—roasting, winnowing, grinding, tempering, and molding their very own artisan chocolate. 

Hands-On Experience

Roll up your sleeves and work with the finest Kyela cacao beans. Learn how to crack and winnow cocoa nibs, grind them into rich cocoa liquor, and balance flavors with natural sweeteners. You’ll master the tempering process to achieve that perfect snap and shine before pouring your chocolate into molds.

Interactive & Educational

Along the way, discover the science of fermentation, roasting, and how different percentages of cacao create distinct taste experiences. Our session blends storytelling with practical skills—rooted in Tanzanian heritage and global bean-to-bar craft.

Create & Take Home

At the end of the workshop, every guest takes home their own handcrafted chocolate bars mixed with your own unique choices of inclusions —a true taste of Tanzania, made with care and creativity.
